Former MINISTRY, COLLAPSING LUNGS Members Join Forces In DEVIL IN A BLACK DRESS

March 28, 2011

Now that MINISTRY's Al Jourgensen has retired the band and Trent Reznor of NINE INCH NAILS is focusing on composing scores for films, a large void has been left for fans of this type of music.

Enter DEVIL IN A BLACK DRESS from Los Angeles, California. The band combines elements of metal, industrial and everything in between.

DEVIL IN A BLACK DRESS includes vocalist Frank Cassara (COLLAPSING LUNGS, L.U.N.G.S.),Grammy-nominated drummer Aaron Rossi (MINISTRY, PRONG, REVOLTING COCKS),and two-time-Grammy-nominated guitarist Sin Quirin (MINISTRY, REVOLTING COCKS, LORDS OF ACID). The band is currently at Gourmet Sound Studios in Encino, California recording a three-song demo which is being produced by BAD RELIGION guitarist Greg Hetson.

Commented Hetson: "A friend of mine played me a demo of theirs and asked me if I would be interested in working with the band. After a few listens, I really liked their blend of metal, electronica and percussion. So here I am, producing the band."
